The last lions gate movie used a hidden playlist file that was called 209.mpls which linked to 256.mpls for insurgant. I will have to check this movie out with my methods to see if you are referring to screen pass cashed protection which can be defeated with my alldup video and process monitor via powerdvd 14 or 15. In my case that was 0600.mpls.Īs with everything else in life, your results may vary. Using that sequence, I compared it to every segment map shown in Makemkv until I found the one that matched. I opened the computer written version in Notepad and despite seeing a bunch of hieroglyphics, the actual stream (segment) file names can be plainly seen in the proper sequence. A file of the same name (0258.mpls) exists on the original Disk but they were NOT the same. Using PowerDVD and Process Monitor, I discovered that the actual MPLS being used by PowerDVD was written to a directory on my computer.
